The school is looking to recruit a Learning Support Assistant who will be based in Reception. The successful applicant will need join a well established team and be passionate about the early years foundation stage. The role will also include some outside supervision. As a member of the school team, you should expect your roles and responsibilities to change over time, adapting to the needs of the children.
You will need to be creative, have a good understanding of how children learn and be able to form excellent relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues. You will be patient, flexible and resourceful, and able to support the school’s ethos. Experience of working with children in schools is essential. At interview, you will be expected to demonstrate your ability to lead a learning activity with a small group of children.
