Teaching Assistant
Teaching Assistant (part-time) required at our happy, supportive and forward-thinking school.
The role
The school is looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant to support in Early Years (Reception classes) for a pupil with specific needs. The position is 22.5 hours a week from 11:00am until 3:30pm, and includes supporting the pupil over lunch break.
You will need to be creative, resilient, have a good understanding of how children learn and be able to form excellent relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues. You will be patient, flexible and resourceful, and able to support the school’s ethos. You will need to communicate well and work with other teachers and TAs in the team to support this pupil.

Starting date: Note that this role is required from Monday 8th March because this is currently the date at which pupils are due to return to school following the national lockdown. If this date changes (following a government announcement) then the starting date for this role will change accordingly.
